Temporary Road Closure - Station Road, Bekesbourne - 5th September 2022 (Canterbury District)

It will be necessary to close part of Station Road, Bekesbourne, from 22:00 hours on 5th September 2022 with estimated completion by 06:00 hours on 6th September 2022.

Station Road, Bekesbourne, will be closed for approximately 20 metres either side of the rail bridge, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route is Station Road, Bekesbourne Lane, A257 High Street, A257 Wingham Road, A257 Canterbury Road, B2046 High Street, B2046 Adisham Road, Station Road, Pond Hill, Adisham Downs Road, Chalkpit Hill, School Lane and vice versa.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while bridge examination works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.
