Temporary Road Closure - Preston Road, Wingham - 24th August 2022 for 3 Days, between 08:00 hours and 18:00 hours

It will be necessary to close part of Preston Road, Wingham from 24th August 2022 with estimated completion by 26th August 2022.

Preston Road, Wingham will be closed between Windyridge and Cornerways, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route is Preston Road, Preston Lane, The Street, Stourmouth Road, Preston Road, The Street, Plucks Gutter, Gore Street, A253 Canterbury Road, A299 Monkton Roundabout/Canterbury Road West/Mount Pleasant/Hengist Way/Sevenscore Roundabout, A256 Richborough Way/Ebbsfleet Roundabout/Ramsgate Road/Sandwich Bypass, A257 Ash Bypass/Pedding Hill/Roman Road/Gobery Hill, Preston Hill and vice versa.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.
