WINGHAM COMMUNITY LITTER PICK

Wingham Parish Council has once again signed up with Keep Britain Tidy and Dover District Council (DDC) to take part in this year's Great British Spring Clean campaign running from 21 March to the 6 April 2025.

Refreshments, courtesy of The Dog at Wingham and Wilmshurst Bakery, will be supplied so please come along to The Dog at 9am on Saturday 5 April where important information will be given out whilst you enjoy your breakfast rolls and coffee.

Hi-Viz vests must be worn and these will be supplied along with litter pickers and bags. You are of course welcome to bring your own equipment if you would prefer and though rubber gloves will also be available, you may wish to bring your own garden-style gloves.

All children should be accompanied please.

Groups will set off at 9.30am and return by 11.30/11.45am when soup and bread will be available, courtesy of The Dog at Wingham.

All litter collected will be picked up by the DDC waste services team that afternoon, so please ensure all bags are brought back to The Dog car park for collection.
