WINGHAM PLAY AREA & OUTDOOR GYM - NEW COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS from 5 November 2020

The children's play area at Wingham Recreation Ground is OPEN

BUT, please note that the Talk Tubes are CLOSED

The Outdoor Gym at Wingham Recreation Ground is CLOSED

This decision follows the current government restrictions as of 5 November 2020.

When using the Play Area, please maintain social distancing at all times - no more than 30 people must be in the play area at any one time.

Please also take note of the following:-

• The Parish Council will not be cleaning the play equipment. Use of the equipment is therefore at your own risk.
• Please consider cleaning equipment you're using, particularly where there are clear touch points such as swing rockers and see saws
• Please bring hand sanitiser gel or wipes to clean children’s hands
• Please observe good hand hygiene, sanitising hands more often than usual, for 20 seconds with approved gel/foam sanitiser, particularly at the beginning and end of play
• Please try not to touch your faces and encourage children to do the same
• Please try to cough or sneeze into a tissue or arm when a tissue is not available
• Please encourage children not to put their mouths on equipment or their hands in their mouths
• Please remember the need for social distancing
• Please dispose of used face coverings and PPE properly in a ‘black bag’ waste bin or litter bin (not recycling bins)
