Wingham Parish Council, along with representatives from Adisham, Aylesham, Bekesbourne/Patrixbourne, Littlebourne and Womanswold Parish Councils, plus a Dover District Councillor and Canterbury City Councillor met at a meeting called by Adisham Parish Council on 31 October 2022 to discuss plans contained within the Canterbury District Draft Local Plan to 2045.
Proposed developments at Adisham, South Aylesham (Womanswold) and Littlebourne were discussed including the impacts these could have on our residents, infrastructure and local environment.
Adisham Parish Council hosted a public meeting to discuss the proposed Community Garden Scheme of 3200 houses on Wednesday 16th November 2022.
A website has been set up by CARE (Conserve Adisham's Rural Environment) to advertise the evening meeting organised by Adisham Parish Council on Wednesday 16 November in Adisham parish church Holy Innocents. The website also lists 13 points against the scheme and how CARE intend to oppose it:-

Wingham sits within Dover District Council but proposed developments in the Canterbury District Local Plan would impact Wingham. This will be discussed at a forthcoming meeting of Wingham Parish Council, as will the Regulation 19 Consultation of the Dover District Council Local Plan, which can be viewed HERE
