Wingham PC has received an email regarding the above road closure.

The information supplied states:-

Emergency road closure: Preston Rd junction with Deerson Lane from 09.00 on 14/05/25 with a completion date of 20/05/25.

This will be a full road closure, due to lack of road space and safe working distances, whilst we carry out the essential works required.

We do apologise for the inconveniences caused and aim to complete the required works as quick as possible.

There will be a diversion in place with signage advising of the diversion route, see below:-

Preston Lane, The Street, Stourmouth Road, Preston Road, The Street, Plucks Gutter, Gore Street, A253 Canterbury Road, A299 Monkton Roundabout/Canterbury Road West/Mount Pleasant/Hengist Way/Sevenscore Roundabout, A256 Richborough Way/Ebbsfleet Roundabout/Ramsgate Road/Sandwich Bypass, A257 Ash Bypass/Pedding Hill/Roman Road/Gobery Hill, Preston Hill and vice versa
