It was a real community event with bacon and cheese rolls supplied by WILMSHURST BAKERY (so sorry not everyone got a roll), tea and coffee, then soup and bread supplied by THE DOG AT WINGHAM when we got back and the amazing volunteers who spread out across the parish to collect litter.

As part of the Keep Britain Tidy Great British Spring Clean campaign, Dover District Council supported the event and supplied all the litter picking equipment and arranged for the litter to be collected.

How beautiful does the village look at the moment with all the daffodils blooming and trees in blossom and, for now, a fairly litter-free village, which we hope everyone will try to keep that way.

👏 THANK YOU ~ THANK YOU ~ THANK YOU 👏
