Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

The Chairman of Wingham Parish Council, Cllr Sharon Addis, has expressed her deepest sympathy on behalf of councillors and residents of Wingham Parish on the sad passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The Chairman said: "We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and on behalf of the Parish can I express our great sorrow and deepest sympathies to His Majesty King Charles III and all members of the Royal Family.

We are flying our flag at half mast and a Book of Condolence will be opened at St Mary’s Church"

The Wingham book of condolence at St Mary's Church will be available to sign from 2.30pm Friday 9th September. The church will be open each day from 10am to 4pm (may open earlier on some days) should you wish to sign the book.
