It’s a GEM of an offer at Age Concern Sandwich with GREET, EAT and MEET

Sadly, the winter months were difficult for many people with the increased fuel, food and energy costs, and as the cost of living continues to rise, Age Concern Sandwich is aware that many elderly people maybe struggling to make ends meet.

Due to this reason, Age Concern Sandwich has just launched Greet, Eat and Meet which follows the successful Meet, Eat and Heat initiative launched last year, offering a healthy 2-course meal in a friendly environment at a subsidised cost of £4 thanks to funding from Dover District Council.  Therefore, saving you money on your home utilities and food costs.

Because Age Concern Sandwich is committed to providing social support to the over 50’s and vulnerable people in Sandwich town and surrounding areas, the Greet, Eat and Meet (GEM) initiative is running throughout the summer months on Mondays and Fridays until October.
