Openreach - Temporary Road Closure - B2046 Adisham Road, Adisham & Wingham & Crockshard Lane, Wingham - 23rd October 2025

Due to works planned to be undertaken by Openreach, it will be necessary to close part of B2046 Adisham Road, Adisham & Wingham & Crockshard Lane, Wingham, from 23rd October 2025 with estimated completion by 23rd October 2025.
Closures will be imposed between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
B2046 Adisham Road will be closed from outside Uffington Cottages to the junction of Wingham Well Lane.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2046 Adisham Road, B2046 High Street A257 Canterbury Road, A257 Wingham Road, A257 The Hill, A257 Canterbury Road, A257 Littlebourne Road, A257 St Martin's Hill, A257 Longport, A257 Lower Chantry Lane, A2050 New Dover Road, A2050 Dover Road, A2 Dover Road Slip East On, A2 Dover Road, A2 Barham Slip Eastbound Off, B2046 Box Iron Road and vice versa.
Crockshard Lane will be closed between the junctions of B2046 Adisham Road and Crockshard Hill.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Crockshard Lane, Crockshard Hill, Goodnestone Road, Staple Road, B2046 High Street, B2046 Adisham Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while allowing fibre works to be carried out, works are undertaken by Openreach.
