Prospective Councillor Evening - Unlock Your Potential

An event is being held at the Dover District Council offices in Whitfield on Tuesday 14 June from 6pm-9pm for anyone interested in finding out more about becoming a Dover District Councillor.

The next Dover District Council elections will be held on 4 May 2023, when all 32 district council seats will be up for election.  The Prospective Councillor Evening is being organised by the Democratic Services team and will explain the processes involved in standing for election, as well as providing an opportunity to find out what life as a local councillor is really like.

Councillors come from all walks of life, ages and backgrounds, and play a key role in shaping the future of their local communities.  If you have an interest in what happens in the area, care about our district, and want to represent your local community, why not come along to find out more.  You do not need to be a member of a political party.
