Remaining 2024/25 Wingham Community Organisation Grant funds – APPLY NOW!

Friday 16 November 2024

Further to this year’s rounds of Community and Small Capital Grants, there remains an amount in the budget which Councillors would like to allocate to Wingham Village Organisations who meet the criteria in the Community Grant Policy (see our Grants page HERE).

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS FOR REMAINING 2024/25 BUDGET FUNDS ONLY

[NOT 2025/26 GRANT APPLICATIONS]

There is not much time to apply as applications will be discussed at the next Parish Council meeting on 9th December, so please read the policy and submit an application form ASAP and by Friday 6 December 2024 at the latest.

The remaining fund pot is less than £1800, so organisations should consider making an application to the 2025/26 community grant fund for any large projects (Contact the clerk for further information).

Please note that your organisation must be able to demonstrate that it is properly managed and able to run its financial affairs responsibly. Submission of the most recent audited accounts (or those examined by a suitably qualified person) with the application would be an acceptable way to do this. Your organisation must have a bank account in its own name. (Please see the Grant Policy for further details)

TO APPLY: You must be a Wingham Village Organisation to apply and must meet the criteria in the Community Grant Policy. Please email the clerk: clerk@wingham-pc.gov.uk or use the contact form to request the relevant application form: 2024/25 Community Organisation Grant application form (for ongoing running expenses or a small project not yet started); or the 2024/25 Small Capital Grant application form (for a long-term asset not yet purchased).

If you are already applying for a 2025/26 Community Grant, you may still apply for another grant from this year’s pot (2024/25) but please do so on separate forms for the relevant year.

Please contact the Parish Council clerk if you have any questions.
