Temporary Road Closure - B2046 High Street, Wingham - 8th August 2023

It will be necessary to close part of B2046 High Street, Wingham, from 8th August 2023 with estimated completion by 11th August 2023.

B2046 High Street, Wingham, will be closed between the junctions of B2046 Adisham Road and A257 Canterbury Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site. 

The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2046 Adisham Road, B2046 Box Iron Road, A2 Barham Slip Eastbound, A2 Dover Road, A2 Dover Road Slip West Off, Dover Road, A2050 Dover Road, A2050 New Dover Road, A257 Lower Chantry Road, A257 Longport, A257 St Martins Hill, A257 Littlebourne Road, A257 Canterbury Road, A257 The Hill, A257 High Street, A257 Wingham Road, A257 Canterbury Road and vice versa.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while allowing water works to be carried out, works are undertaken by Southern Water.
