Dover District Council has also signed up to the Great British Spring Clean and will be visiting various towns and parishes during the Keep Britain Tidy campaign running from 13-29 March 2026.

They are also launching two competitions in support of the campaign. Firstly, their REACH awards which formally recognise great work being conducted in our communities to improve the environment by organisations, community groups and litter pickers young and old. Secondly, they're relaunching the popular “Do the right thing and put your litter in the bin!” poster competition for under-18s where the winning design will be displayed on some of our refuse and recycling vehicles.
