Residents and visitors to Wingham are being reminded to please clear up after their dog and report any issues directly to Dover District Council (see below)
The Dover Disrict Council Dog Warden would like to remind residents and visitors to please clear up after their dogs and use the nearby bins.
A new sign reminding dog owners of this has been placed near Footpath EE171 as this has been reported as a problem area in the village. There are two bins near the bench and wall outside St Mary's Church which can be used to dispose of filled bags (normal refuse bins may be used).
You may recall reading our news article earlier this year on the joint working of the Parish Council, DDC and Recreation Ground Committee to tackle anti-social behaviour, including dog fouling, at the Recreation Ground and the Parish Council continues to work with the Dog Warden to tackle this issue throughout the village.
DDC Dog Wardens and Enforcement Officers will be patrolling Wingham and you can help by reporting every episode of dog fouling online (https://forms.dover.gov.uk/Dogfouling ) with all relevant information so they can target problem areas.
